Yesterday I received an amazing package in the mail.  Thanks to +PUMA teaming up with +Crowdtap, I was selected to sample Puma products.  My package contained Puma Mobium Elite running shoes, a short sleeve running top, lightweight running jacket, and active running leggings.  

I couldn't wait to try my new gear, so I promptly laced up my new Mobium Elite shoes.  The first thing I noted is how they formed to my feet.  The band on the bottom truly does mimic the foot when running.  Because the shoe does not stay static, it gives a little spring back when I run, so each step feels like I have a little extra bounce.  Incredible!  Unfortunately I ordered a 1/2 size too large, so I have to lace the shoes too tightly in order to achieve a snug fit and the metatarsal support is in the wrong spot.  Otherwise these shoes are awesome!  

The Active Running Leggings are like nothing I have ever worn before.  They have strategically placed, built in running tape to provide just the right amount of pressure and extra stability while running (and my leggings are even purple!!!!).  I love how the built in tape reduces the impact of each step on my muscles while running.  

The running top is fantastic.  It is very lightweight, breathable, and fashionable.  I love that Puma sizes their clothing for real people.  I ordered a size medium top because that is where my waist measurements fall on their size chart.  The top fits me in a very flattering way and doesn't show all of my waist-line imperfections gained from having 3 babies.  It is so nice to have an athletic shirt built for comfort, style, AND performance!  

The jacket was a bonus that Puma added to the sample box.  You can see in the pictures just how reflective it is when running at night.  It super light weight and breathable, yet keeps the wind chill off of my skin.  Overall, the perfect running jacket!  

I am completely impressed with the quality of the Puma athletic gear.  Up until now, I thought Puma was simply just a status symbol brand.  Now I know that simply isn't true.  Puma symbolizes stylish, comfortable, cutting edge athletic gear.  I highly recommend these products!  

Truvia Sample

Thanks to the generosity of Truvia and Crowdtap, I had the opportunity to sample Truvia (stevia) sweetener and share some with my friends.  I have had some stevia in the past in baked goods and really enjoyed it.  However, a previous brand of stevia that I purchased really had a bitter aftertaste and left me quite disappointed.  I was slightly apprehensive to try Truvia.  When I was removing the packets from the cardboard pieces, one of the packets of Truvia tore and spilled on the insert.  My friends and I were quick to stick our fingers in and give it a taste plain.  It was really yummy!  Nice and sweet without the bitter aftertaste!  My favorite way to enjoy Truvia ended up being in my peach smoothie.
